With the great influx of new artists recently, we will try to keep the Anytist news & promotions more current. As part of this, we will post music-related links and news from time to time.
Apparently Nokia is in the works to release a music subscription service in Australia. It will allow downloads of songs to your Nokia cellphone. The songs are in Windows Media format with DRM.
What do you think? Do they have any chance to compete? Are cellphone-based music stores the way of the future? Is it smart to release yet another service based on a DRM-format when many larger stores are moving away from DRM?

Well, yeah, I can't really see myself pay for DRM:ed cellphone music, that I most likely already have CD:s of.
