Disclaimer: the following description is intended to aid parties in reaching a good faith solution to copyright problems, and to describe the policy of Anytist in legal matters. The text is in no way intended as legal advice. If you want legal advice, you should contact a lawyer.
First, click on the 'abuse' link next to the content, fill in the form and state that the content violates your copyright. See abuse links for more information on this. Make sure to provide full contact information, preferably email, regular postal mail, and telephone number.
Second, to make absolutely sure your complaint are not lost in transit, also send a regular postal letter to the address in our contact information. Be sure to precisly point out what content are violating your copyright. Again, make sure to provide full contact information, preferably email, regular postal mail, and telephone number.
We will quickly review your complaint. Unless the claim is obviously baseless, we will immediately remove the content and inform the artist who uploaded the content about the problem. In this process we will forward your complaint in its entirety to the artist, including your contact information. However, in interest of protecting artists that wish to remain anonymous, we will not hand out their contact information unless required by Swedish law enforcement (see below).
After this step, it is up to the artist and you what further steps will be taken.
If both parties are happy, since the content is now removed, no further action will be taken from Anytist side.
The parties may negotiate a good faith solution to the issue, e.g. the Artist pays a license fees for samples or similar. If the copyright holder write to us and state that the issue has been resolved, we will put the content back.
Anytist strongly discourage unnessecary legal action, but if it comes to that, this is Anytists policy:
If the artist do not agree with the copyright claim, and file a proper legal complaint under Swedish jurisdiction, Anytist will do what we can to aid the legal procedure. If the copyright claim is found baseless, we will put the content back.
If the copyright holder want to press charges, Anytist will cooperate with the legal procedure. However, we will only hand out contact information and log data for specific artists if we are required to do so by the Swedish law enforcement.
